| This is a joint degree program for applicants wishing to pursue a career related to both law and business. You would have to apply to the business school and the law school of the universities you choose, take the GMAT and LSAT, write essays for the business school and personal statement for the law school. The program can take four to five years to complete. There are some exceptions to this: Kellogg offers an integrated JD/MBA program that requires a single application to the MBA program and does not require you to apply separately to the law school. You also don't need to take the LSAT. Submitting a GMAT score is enough. The joint degree can be obtained in three years. To pursue the joint degree you would require an admit from the law school as well as the business school. In your business school career essay and law school personal statement you must emphasize on the need for the joint degree to meet your career goals. We would normally charge an additional $80 for a law school personal statement and another $80 if you decided to write an optional essay for your JD application.
