Talk about your career leading up to your current job. Show how you have grown in your career. Show the direction your career has taken till date.  

 

Discuss your short and long term career aspirations with an MBA from INSEAD.  (short answer) *

 

What is your ideal first job after graduating? Show which industry, what role, and what you want to achieve through that role.

 

Main Essays

 

Essay 1 Give a candid description of yourself (who are you as a person), stressing the personal characteristics you feel to be your strengths and weaknesses and the main factors, which have influenced your personal development, giving examples when necessary. (500 words approx.)

 

Look at yourself at work, home and with friends. What are a few things that matter to you most? What are you good at? How would you like to improve? Recall personal influences that have made you who you are today. 

 

Essay 2 Describe the achievement of which you are most proud and explain why. In addition, describe a situation where you failed. How did these experiences impact your relationships with others? Comment on what you learned. (400 words approx.)

 

An achievement more significant than all others. This is not about writing about an experience where you overcame a challenge. Your choice of experiences will lend insight on what's important for you and why. You may want to write about an experience that makes you proud more than all other experiences you have had.  For the failure, when you didn't achieve what you set out to achieve, what did you think, feel, do? What did you take away from the experience?  How did you react to the reaction you received from others on your achievement and also on your failure? 

 

Essay 3 Describe all types of extra-professional activities in which you have been or are still involved for a significant amount of time (clubs, sports, music, arts, politics, etc). How are you enriched by these activities? (300 words approx.)

 

Talk about the interests that you have pursued with passion and how you have benefited from them.
